The License
Rare, and the

Casa de Campo holds several thousand villas. Very few of them can legally host a licensed event on their own grounds — a residence is a residence, and the resort's event business runs mostly through its hotels and dedicated venues.
Costa Verde 3 is fully permitted for weddings and private events. That permission, attached to 2,883 m² of ocean-front lawn on the 8th hole of Teeth of the Dog, is what turns a beautiful house into a venue — and a meaningful second revenue line.

The ground
The lawns run from the covered terraces, past the pool, to the coral shoreline — open, level and framed by mature royal palms. Ceremonies happen at the water's edge with the Caribbean behind, and dinner moves back up to the terraces and pool deck as the light goes.
The villa's covered pavilions give you a weather plan that does not involve a marquee in a car park.

The service side
A chef's kitchen with a professional range handles the house. A separate maid's and hot kitchen handles the event, so catering for a hundred and twenty people never runs through the room your guests are standing in.
Staff quarters — 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a full laundry — sit apart from the main house. It is the unglamorous infrastructure that decides whether a villa can actually work as a venue.
On the Day
Everyone stays.
Six bedrooms, each with an ocean view, plus a children's bedroom and nursery off the primary suite. The wedding party wakes up where the ceremony is, and nobody drives.
La Romana International Airport is ten minutes from the gate, which makes an international guest list far less painful than it sounds.

Can you get married at a Casa de Campo villa?
Only at villas that hold the appropriate permission. Most private villas inside the resort are residences and cannot legally host a licensed event on their own grounds. Costa Verde 3 is fully permitted for weddings and private events, which is a large part of why it works commercially as well as personally.
How many guests can Costa Verde 3 host?

What makes the setting different from a hotel ballroom?
The backdrop is the Caribbean and the 8th hole of Teeth of the Dog, with nothing built between the lawn and the water. Ceremonies here are outdoors at the ocean edge, and the villa itself becomes the accommodation and the getting-ready space rather than a room you hire by the hour.
